When is the Trail of Terror open?
The Trail of Terror is usually open every Saturday in October. Additional nights may be added depending on when Halloween falls in a particular year.
What are the hours of operation of the Trail of Terror?
Tours of the Trail of Terror begin at dusk and continue until roughly midnight.
When can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available from dusk until 11:00 p.m. at the Trail of Terror site.
How much are tickets?
All tickets are $10, except children under 8, which are $5.
Check the website for discounts. We offer discounts for canned food donations and blood donations.
How do I get to the Trail of Terror?
Go to our directions link and type in your address. It will map your directions from your home to the Trail.
How should I dress to tour the Trail of Terror?
Well, this is an outdoor event. In the woods. Really. At night. Really.
We strongly discourage sandels and flip-flops.
Also, while touring the Trail, we do not allow our guest to wear masks for safety reasons.
How long is the Trail of Terror?
The Trail is approximately a 1/2 mile walk through the woods and takes about 25 minutes to complete.
Do I have to walk the Trail of Terror alone?
We used to let folks walk the Trail alone, but we lost too many customers. Now we send a guide with you to keep you safely on the Trail.
Can I bring my camera?
We really don't care. However, if your camera flash is disrupting the tour or you're delaying you're group, you'll be asked by your guide to turn off your camera. We enjoy receiving pictures from our guests. you can send them to us on our "Contact Us" link or by e-mailing them to

Can I bring a flashlight?
Umm, no. That's kinda the point of it being at night. You'll be fine. Really.
Will the actors touch me?
Not really. They may crowd your personal space or inadvertently bump into you, but no onewill actually grab you. And please do not touch our actors or props.
When did the Trail of Terror begin?
The first year of operation for the Trail of Terror was 2006.
How many people come to the Trail of Terror?
On average the Trail of Terror has 2,000 visitors each year.
Can I get group rates?
Absolutely. We've hosted birthday parties, church youth groups, and just groups of friends at the Trail. It doesn't matter how large your group is, but we prefer to keep each tour group at 10 or fewer. Even though we may split you into 2-3 groups, everyone will enjoy the Trail of Terror more this way.
If you intend to bring a large group, please contact us and let us know when you intend to come and how many folks will be in your group so they we can accomodate you better.
You're out in the woods, is there any thing to eat or drink there?
Yes, we have a concession stand that serves reasonably priced drinks, hamburgers, hot dog, and the typical concession fare. However, no food or drink are allowed on the Trail.
